SARAH GUERRA
Annual Conference Bay Area Site Production Coordinator
We are so happy to have Sarah Guerra on the Annual Conference planning team! NPN/VAN Partners will remember Sarah when she was program director at La Peña in Berkeley, and an active Partner representative (go Regional Desks!).
Sarah has dedicated her life to the arts as education, and as a tool for political and social justice.
A native Tejana living in California since 2001, Sarah has worked with several theatre companies including Guadalupe Cultural Arts Center, Jump-Start Performance Co., The Esperanza Peace and Justice Center and El Teatro Campesino. From 2005-2011 she was the program director at La Peña Cultural Center in Berkeley, CA where she commissioned new works, managed artist residencies and curated La Peña’s annual Hecho en Califas Festival. Currently, Sarah is program director for Brava Theater Center and Production Manager for the Queer Cultural Center’s National Queer Arts Festival.
