PartnershipPerforming and Visual Arts
NPN / VAN invited five organizations to become new NPN Partners and three organizations to become new VAN Partners in July 2012.  You can read the press release here.

Touring SupportPerforming and Visual Arts
NPN and VAN support the national touring of performing and visual arts through Performance and Exhibition Residencies.

SDAS producing organizations interested in touring their work may participate in Performance and Exhibition Residencies by connecting with NPN/VAN Partners.

Creation of New WorkPerforming Arts
NPN supports the creation, production, and touring of new work through the NPN Creation Fund and Forth Fund.

SDAS organizations may participate as co-commissioners or apply as artists (through an NPN Partner) to the NPN Creation Fund for creation and touring of new work. Beginning in summer 2011, each awarded Creation Fund project will be eligible to receive an additional $15,000 through the Fourth Fund.

International Cultural ExchangePerforming Arts
NPN’s International Performing Americas Program will be awarding a limited number of grants to artists to develop projects throughout the hemisphere. The Creative Exchange will fund 1. Residencies for 2-5 weeks at one host site abroad in Latin America, the Caribbean or the United States; and 2. Travel abroad to meet with a potential host or artist in Latin America, the Caribbean or the United States to develop a future Creative Exchange residency or international cultural exchange project. Annual MeetingPerforming and Visual Arts

NPN / VAN convenes its Partners, the artists who have toured through the networks, and colleagues at its Annual Meeting. Attendance is by invitation only and has been extended to SDAS grantees. Contact if you have any questions.

The 2014 Annual Meeting in Tulsa, OK begins on Sunday, November 16 and continues to Thursday, November 20.  Activities include performances and exhibitions by national and local artists, plenary sessions, workshops, stimulating conversation and more.
