Arts in Motion: Connecting Your Work with New Communities

Have you ever considered taking your art on the road? Touring is not one-size-fits-all!

Arts in Motion is an introductory workshop exploring different models of touring and community engagement. Participants will have an opportunity to exchange with a diverse group of artists and arts presenters from across the country, representing different models of touring, experiences and communities. Learn about what to consider if you want to take your art on the road including:

  • connecting to community
  • creating a touring budget,
  • and what resources are out there to help you get started!

Attending artists will receive a syllabus of touring tips and tools at the 2-hour session. Download AIM workshop material:

The packet of information is the same one that is distributed at the workshop.
