1. Register for the 2018 NPN Conference

2. Hurricane Michael disaster response:
FEMA and SBA tips

If you’re a studio artist whose home or studio sustained wind and/or water damage during Hurricane Michael, use the FEMA and SBA assistance tips and resources available from CERF+ as you navigate the disaster recovery.

3. Duke Foundation announces new fellowship
for dance artists

Dance/USA Fellowships to Artists (DFA) is a new, national program to support individual artists, funded by the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation (DDCF). In this pilot round, direct support will be provided to dance artists who have substantial practice of working through dance to address social change within one or more communities. DFA will support artists who are creating work that is relevant to current times, and that tells the truths of peoples and issues in our communities and world today. The program is open to individual artists. By June of 2019, Dance/USA Fellowships to Artists will award $1,000,000 to dance artists in about 30 fellowships of around $33,000 each. Deadline: Nov. 16
