Welcome newest NPN staff member: Pam Roberts

What do you get when you cross a singing, fire-spinning sailor with acute administrative skills? The newest member of the NPN staff: Pamela Roberts.

Pamela Roberts brings a variety of organizational experiences and skills to her new position as Program Assistant for Convenings, working beside Program Director Mimi Zarsky. Pam knows what it’s like to "take it on the road": during her two years’ tour with the Caravan Stage Tall Ship Theatre, she traveled to Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Belgium and Louisiana’s bayou country. Pam grew up in Neptune, New Jersey and moved to New Orleans in 2007 via New York City.

Pam’s artistic credentials as a singer, fire spinner, and stage manager, will be a valuable addition to the NPN staff. With a keen interest in popular culture, she is also a crackerjack trivia player and crossword solver. (And as the picture illustrates, Pam is adept at sailing with a steady hand and keen eye.)

Like all "new" New Orleanians, Pam has already made one important decision: her favorite drink, a Ketel One dirty martini up with 3 olives.
