Annual Meeting
Annual Meeting

Save the dates for NPN’s 23rd Annual Meeting in New Orleans, Thursday, December 6 through Monday, December 10, 2007.

Attendees are invited to participate in the rebuilding of New Orleans by volunteering with local community organizations; to volunteer, plan on arriving early and/or staying on late. Volunteer opportunities will be available at npnweb.org or by emailing annualmeeting@npnweb.org.

Additional days in New Orleans are at the attendee’s expense.

Listserv
Listserv

Keeping our email boxes lean and free of junk mail is a struggle for most of us, so the staff here at NPN’s national office tries very hard to keep mass email correspondence with NPN Partners restricted to issues of NPN business. The goal is for NPN Partners to be assured that the NPN listserv messages they receive will contain information that is vital to the work of all NPN Partners.

Since all NPN Partners and associated artists are involved in exciting new performances and participate in vital discussions in our field, sharing information is a major goal for most of us. We support this important aspect of NPN Partner work and encourage all to use the NPN Directory, contacts made through NPN Convenings, and local audiences to gather email addresses for your own mailing lists.

When sending out notices please do not include NPN listserv addresses such as npnwest@npnweb.org or regionaldesks@npnweb.org in your lists. In this way we can all make sure that NPN listservs remain business-relevant and that NPN Partner-specific information is shared with an invested audience. The NPN Partner listservs are monitored and email that is not NPN-business related will be rejected and not sent. Thus you are making more work for NPN National Office, without accomplishing your intent to share information about your programs.
