NPN is thrilled to be able to subsidize NPN Partners and Artists to attend this amazing convention. NPN has been an active planning partner since the NPAC idea became a reality!
This June, the performing arts community will come together in Denver like never before!
- From June 10-14, approximately 5,000 people with a commitment to the performing arts will converge in Denver, Colorado for Taking Action Together!
- This is the first large, truly national convening where ALL the non-profit performing arts - such as dance, music, opera and theatre - are coming together to develop, design, fund and facilitate a convention together from the ground up.
- NPAC will present major thinkers from the performing arts and beyond in keynote speeches, the best and brightest problem-solvers in workshops, brilliant artists in art-making sessions and ample opportunity for building relationships between arts disciplines.
- Attendees will work together in workshops and training sessions, attend performances, and network at social gatherings. They will listen to inspiring speakers who are already making a difference in the world through art, and they will learn practical tools and techniques to take back home.
- The convention offers an unprecedented opportunity for attendees to help set the agenda for the future of the arts. At a series of town-hall-style meetings attendees from all the performing arts, together with other arts leaders, will grapple with issues and chart a course that includes issues that matter the most to them. A team of professional conveners from the renowned group AmericaSpeaks will guide participants through the process, using the latest technologies. Discussions will build upon the previous day’s work, building momentum that will culminate at Saturday morning’s closing session, which should not be missed!
