Funders

NPN has received generous support from and is extremely grateful to the following foundations and public agencies who make our work possible.

Doris Duke Charitable Foundation
The National Performance Network is honored to announce that it has received a core support grant from the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation, Support for National Organizations Initiative. In November 2007, DDCF awarded core support grants totaling $5 million to eight national organizations. In addition to NPN, our colleagues who also received this prestigious support include: Association of Performing Arts Presenters, Chamber Music America, Creative Capital Foundation, Dance/USA, National Association of Latino Arts and Culture, Nonprofit Finance Fund and the Theatre Communications Group.

The mission of the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation is to improve the quality of people’s lives through grants supporting the performing arts, environmental conservation, medical research and the prevention of child maltreatment, and through preservation of the cultural and environmental legacy of Doris Duke’s properties.

We are very grateful to the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation for this valuable funding opportunity which was designed to support national arts organizations who play a critical role in the dance, jazz, presenting and/or theatre fields.
