“DOIN’ IT ON THE ROAD: A BEGINNERS’ GUIDE FOR TOURING PERFORMING ARTISTS”
In the spring of 2010 NPN will be hosting a series of workshops for performing artists who are interested in touring their work across the country. Workshops will take place at the Museum of Contemporary Art (Chicago, IL), the National Association of Latino Arts and Culture Conference (San Jose, CA), Ashé Cultural Arts Center (New Orleans, LA), and Asian Arts Initiative (Philadelphia, PA).
“Doin’ it on the Road: a Beginners’ Guide for Touring Performing Artists” is a free information-packed workshop, designed and presented by the NPN. “Doing it” demystifies the touring process for artists who are interested in learning how to tour their work, regionally and beyond.
